– I would love to see a “slate” based on the Android OS. Unlike the iPad, it’s not nearly as crippled or restricted, and it could really make a viable alternative. Looking forward to see it.
– Possible theory. If it’s true, I have the feeling that Apple is going to take it in the teeth on this one.
– I hope this is wrong about developers accepting Apple’s demands. I’d hope to see more developers telling Apple they can stick their demands and moving to a more free platform. I guess we’ll see.

– Seems like a blatant attack on Google, but really, I don’t think that Google will even notice. Is Apple going to make Magical and Revolutionary advertisements? I think even Steve Jobs will have a hard time selling that. All Apple’s doing is jumping into a pond where bigger fish already swim. Google still has more to worry about from Microsoft than Apple.

– I was reading this news, and since I do happen to have an iPhone, was attempting to be excited about it. Really though, it’s just matching features that it’s competition has had for a while. Where’s the excitement Apple? All tuckered out from the iPad release? I don’t know why, since that kinda sucked too.

– EXCELLENT! I was really surprised when Canonical switched over to Yahoo!, but since it’s a configurable option, it didn’t really worry me. I’m glad to see they’re switching back though.

– The more Android phones on the market, the more incentive to produce applications. The more applications, the more incentive to buy Android phones. The longer this goes on, the less relevant the iPhone becomes.

– I’m curious about this Tablet, mostly because it’s a Linux based system. I’m waiting to see if someone can crack this system open and allow for installation of another version of Linux. I agree that the “Web only”-ness of it is kinda lame, especially considering the price.
– Even if all these are true, it still only brings the iPhone up to par (maybe) with the current Android market. Google will leave Apple in dust between 4.0 and 5.0 at this rate.
– I have to admit, this really looks COOL. The demo they have setup seems like a really interesting way of using your TV when you’re not watching it. Hopefully we’ll see a lot more of this in the future.

– No, the Internet is NOT starting to look different. Apple published their little “Favorites” list, but the Internet looks the same today as it did yesterday. It’s stupid to see this type of trash before the product even SHIPS.
