– I kind of like the fact that the users are the ones that report dodgy apps rather than relying on Google to remove those applications themselves just because I don’t want Google turning into the new Apple, but I can see where malware like this is a concern that this method brings. Rock and a hard place.
– Of course the Nexus One wins (sorry to ruin the ending for you if you hadn’t read it yet). It will be interesting to see what Apple pulls out of it’s hat for the next gen iPhone. Better be impressive, or Android is going to spend the next year or so before Gen5 kicking Apple’s butt.
– I’m only surprised that this wasn’t OK with them to begin with. Maybe it was because they could make more money selling the license rather than renting it. Now there are other, FREE alternatives and Microsoft wants all the lockin it can get.
