- Honestly, I think this is an extremely bad idea. We’ll assume for the minute that Bing DOES have a better privacy policy. With the vast majority of people still using a Windows OS, adding Bing to the Microsoft products you use will provide even more information to Microsoft. They know what applications you use, what hardware you have, what sites you visit, and now everything you search for. That’s even assuming that you’re not using their Mail clients or anything like that. Giving that information to Microsoft is much more compromising than giving it to Google, regardless of Privacy Policy.
